Great food and service! Have eaten here 3x. First was their BYO breakfast burrito - which was superb. Then 2x the Chicago Style Pizza. TBH - I don’t think there’s anything bad on the menu if you’re undecided.
The food was really good, but you have to order everything at the counter and grab everything yourself. I think this is how they keep the prices down. I had a great experience. We will definitely be back.
We knew we loved The Dish's breakfast but we got carry the out of corned beef and cabbage, a reuben and the Cabbage Chower today. The chowder was SO GOOD, wish i would have gotten two. Onion rings I got with my Reuben were so crunchy even after a drive home. Corned beef and cabbage was great though we thought mashed with gravy was weird as most places do the red skin potatoes. Fast service. Definitely need to eat here more.
Went here for a very late lunch and was in the mood for sandwiches and soup (but wanted to avoid Panera). While a similar price point, I would say this place is higher quality and the food tastes more fresh! I ordered the turkey focaccia sandwich with some deliciously crispy waffle fries and creamy chicken soup. We dined in and the place is huge on the inside, so plenty of seating. It was also very clean and cozy. I definitely want to return again, because they have a large menu with plenty of options. I highly recommend this place if your family wants various options to eat!
The first time at the Racine - The Dish restaurant, walked in and the lady at the counter was very busy, but nice, dealing with an issue with another customer, and apologized for the delay. Got our order in quickly with no fuss at all. Lots of wonderful things on the menu, so it was hard to decide. Our food was ready in about 7 min. I Had the Lasagna Napoletana and my wife had the build your own pasta with cheese tortellini. Both were large portions, both tasted fantastic! Maybe the best part, they came in really nice bowls and plates! Excellent made house salad, it wasn't just a lot of lettuce, it had onions, tomatoes croutons! The raspberry vinaigrette was delicious! Love the location, anyone in Racine will tell you, Racine doesn't have a ton of great restaurants, so this is a very nice addition to the West side. I can't wait to go back and try their Deep Dish Pizza!!!
Service was quick, space is clean and well maintained. Have dined here twice in the last month, both delicious meals. Patty Melt in my first visit, Meat Lovers Pizza for the second. Looking forward to trying their Sunday Breakfast buffet.
